Behaviour of back/forward buttons

Hi
I use QTTabBar for the search thingy. I want to be able to use the default back/forward buttons of Windows Explorer with their intended behaviour. If QTTabBar is installed it changes from a simple back/foward to first/last folder, i.e instead of going backwards one step it goes all the way to the first folder, and vice versa if you press forward.
Is it possible to do this or could it be implemented in a new version?
