QTTab Bar and TaskBar Shuffle

Hi…

first of all: QTTab Bar is really great.

I use additionaly QT Adressbar and TaskBarShuffle.
TaskBarShuffle is a small tool, which allows you to close Applications by wheel-clicking on the entry in the taskbar.
Normally it's working also great, but after the installation of QTTab Bar it doesn't.

Which parameter do i have to change, that QTTabBar and TaskBar Shuffle are both working?

Hi

Both apps are great, and unfortunately I encountered tise same problem on Windows XP. So far I have not found a solution. Anyone else?

I get this trouble too. But, i think, it isn't a bug - just try to click wheel button on the tabbar.. It behaves like a taskbar =)

since taskbarshuffle has no settings there must be some setting in qttabbar which allows taskbarshuffle to close it by middeclick

firstly taskbar shuffle aint perfect….
it was buggy and explorer wasnt the only thing it didnt close and sometimes it tries to shutdown the system when u middleclick somewhere, so i looked for an alternative and found taskix http://taskix.robustit.com/ i found it to be much smoother and it seems to close things faster plus it works with tabbar and i tried it in situations where taskbar shuffle gave errors frequently…
plus it uses just 316k of ram…

only disadvantage is that it dosent have the fancy animation while reordering….
but im starting to look at it as an advantage

Don't think so. I tried it and it doesn't do that for me. It will allow moving the "taskbar" items but not the task tray items, unless I missed something. If it will allow task tray shufflin then please educate me. You are correct that it does work smoother than taskbar shuffle.

Vista x32 sp1 user is here. wheel-clicking works perfectly.
Latest TaskBar Shuffle and the last stable version of qttabbar, also qttab desktop tool works too.

sorry greg , it dosent for some reason i read your post as task tray instead of taskbar.
@anon can you wheel click on explorer windows which have qttabbar enabled in them?
cause i just checked the site and there is no new release

Yes, i can. just opened folder with 3 tabs, after that made wheel click on taskbar panel of that window and it closed. it works on minimized and maximized windows too.
