Hi there,

first of all: QTTabBar is a great plugin and i really love using it!

But one thing is driving me nuts: the new behaviour of the back button.
In normal explorer it serves as a "history back" function, so you are able to browse through the recently viewed folders. With QTTabBar installed it just refers to the root of the current drive.

I have searched through the options but did not found any switch that could bring me the old behaviour back - is there any? Or any chance you can add this in the next release? I really miss the "old" behaviour and while searching through this board i have found several other posts from people that have the same problem.
People are creatures of habit :)

Best regards,
Thomas

Hey, so far I found a fix to this. Remove the original Windows Explorer Back Button and replace it will the blue style buttons. Right click -> Options -> customize -> remove original back button.
Right click -> Tick "QT Tab StandardButtons" -> customize QT Tab Standard Buttons and simply add the back button. Unlock the toolbars and drag the button where you wan it to go. So far the QT Tab Background button is working fine.

Thanks
Dom

I actually came here to post about the same issue :o)

The way I have my explorer window set up I have the back button, forward button and up button on the left, then the address bar (or in my case, QTAddressBar right now) and then the search and history buttons from QTTabBar. I like the graphics from the native buttons, plus I can't place the "standard buttons" toolbar both to the left and right of the address bar to have my preferred set up.

I think this is a fix for now, but it sure would be nice if the regular back button worked :o)

This is really great, though! I started using QTTabBar about a week ago and I've been loving it. I have it running so that my folders remain persistent and in the same window, so that I have one link to access all my folders. Great job!

How do you place the qt buttons left and right of the breadcrumbs address bar?
I want to have:
<- | -> | ^ | address bar | folder pane | search pane | search bar

But I didn't manage to arrange it that way. Any ideas?
