After each logon (or reboot) the menu is still there, but without any buttons or anything clickable. If I rightclick into the menu->options->reset images everything works fine until the next reboot…

Other problem: after another user (not administrator) logged in, my menus were totally gone. :(

I'm working on XP SP3 as a user with administrator rights.
