qt tabbar and qt addressbar

when i use tabbar and addressbar together and i uncheck the "reuse the existing tab", i find it does not take effect any more and the existing tab is still reused as i open floders with doubleclick and from the addressbar. anyway, i desperately want an option in qt addressbar to open new folders in new tabs.
