Running Vista Ultimate SP1, after upgrading to 1.2.2.1 from 1.1.0.1 my new explorer windows no longer create new tabs - they just create news windows. This completely defeats the purpose of QT Tab. The tab still appears in each window, then just open separately. Ideas?
Have you checked the settings in the options?
Yes, I've checked the options - but I have no idea what could be wrong!
I'm having the same problem, Windows XP SP2 here.
Had the same problem. I'm used to open new explorer windows with windows-key + e. Solution: there are 3 options in the preferences for that (don't know the right english option name, using german language files …)
- Catch new Explorer processes
- uncheck: don't open new explorer windows from outside
- uncheck: reuse exisiting tabs
Hope that helps a little bit …

Thanks for your help - that resolved my issues! I don't know why those options are the defaults, as without them it sort of defeats the purpose of the application.

I guess this is just another one of those open source projects where support is non-existent - that's a shame, what if I were an OEM who wanted to invest in the development? :|
