i have qttabbar 1.2.2.1 installed, working fine, can I keep it on and install SP1 over it (vista)

Do I have to remove qttabbar before installing SP1 (vista) or can I just install SP1 and leave qttabbar on. If I have to uninstall, could someone point me to the uninstall instructions? Will qttabbar work with SP1 on my computer? I have version 1.2.2.1. Please advise how to put SP1 on Vista and keep qttabbar functionality. It's a great tool!
