QTTabBar doesn't remember scroll position when switching between tabs

When I have lets say two tabs open, and say I've scrolled to the bottom of the one I currently am, when I switch to the other one, and then back again, it automatically has the scroll to the topmost position, which can be really annoying in certain situations.
As far as my tinkering went, I didn't find on option from the configuration to change this behaviour.
Help is appreciated.
