When multiple rows of tabs are open and a tab that is not on the bottom row is selected, the rows shift to place the selected tab on the bottom row, unfortunately, this makes relying on a tab's location undependable.

Currently, when you have many tabs open and they are arranged over multiple horizontal rows and you navigate between them, their order changes to bring the active tab to the front bottom row.

Could you please add an option to "Keep Tabs in their original location over multiple rows" as it is very frustrating to visualize a tab's location in relation to the others, and then have them 'shuffle' rows.

I remember having this problem as well.
It was very annoying.

But I believe I solved it by editing a certain option.

Try this setting in the options menu…
Options > Tab > Multiple Rows of tabs (set this to "multiple2" in the drop-down).
