Hello and Thank you for QTTabBar! It's extremely useful.

I've a request for a new possible feature:
ability to quick add comment to the file/folders properties.

Now it can be done by right clicking on a files -> Properties -> Summary Write your comments and click OK.
Then you have to enable the comment column in Windows Explorer to view your notes.

I like the way Windows show comments (a dedicated column) but you need really too many clicks to add your notes :-(
Can you add something to quick doing it? Maybe a plugin.
It may show a text field near file/folder by clicking it with an hotkey (alt, ctrl+alt, …):
Or maybe a text field in the toolbar the same as the searchbar:
select a file/folder, write some comments and hit enter to add a note to the item/s you selected.

I know there is a plugin to add notes to files but it's not so useful and friendly to use.

PS. What do you think about where windows store those texts we add by comments???

wow, what a great suggestion. I would absolutely love to see this enhancement!

I always type really long descriptive file names because I want to be able to search for them using google desktop search, etc. If we could add comments to a file without going through all those settings/etc., it'd be so useful. This is a hearty endorsement of this request :)

ps. while I'm here, thank you for the wonderful program Quizo! May I humbly request a usability feature? Could you please provide an option to place the keyboard cursor in the 'search' as you type text box to have focus when explorer opens or transition between tabs? I would very much love to navigate around by clicking on a shortcut which opens up a folder with a LOT of files and subfolders contained and immediately type in the search box to narrow down to the desired file/folder without having to move the mouse over and click into the search box first. Hi, this post belongs with the one right above..
I just realized I didn't complete my train of thought up there earlier…

If we could have a quick comment procedure for files/folders which is dead easy, it would allow people like me, who have tendencies to give files/folders long descriptive names, to shorten them a bit without loosing the ease of searching for them.

And with shorter file names, you have less of a chance hitting that maddening Windows filename/directory path character length limitation that can cause nasty things to happen to windows systems.

So in a ways, Quizo, you'd be providing a usability enhancement and system stability improvement as well!

I hope Quizo will hear us. I think this is a great enancement.
Maybe in the next release..
