occasionally, my computer's view setting will be changed, "Show in groups" menu will be unchecked.

Hello anonymous :-)

i noticed it at my machine, too. i think it has to to something with the tabbar. After some days the view was good again.

hmm….I noticed your post. I have mine set to show in groups also. I actually UNCHECKED mine and noticed just now that it's checked again. Maybe you're on to something.
