Can't use even after readin the FAQ

Well like title says, i read the FAQ but still can't use QTTAB bar since toolbar menu is grayed… even after doing what's suggested in the FAQ.
Anyone seen how i can fix this ?

Did you restart explorer? (by logging off then on, or rebooting, or by ending and restarting explorer.exe)

Yes, i already tried that many times in many ways, and i even reinstalled both .net 2 and 3. Still nothing, still grayed :(
(I'm on XP, by the way)

It's still me, i think my hard drive is down, or soon will be, cause a lot of weird things are happening (even the explorer is frackin up).
So maybe the reason i can't properly install is this.
I'll get a new har drive and tell you then if the problem comes from here…cya
