Lock Menu -> No Idea, just tried it and it didn't seem to do anything.
Reuse existing tabs -> Prevents the creation of a duplicate tab. If you say have C:\Windows open and then try to make a new tab of C:\Windows this option stops that.
Change Selection by F2 -> No Idea, just tried it and it didn't seem to do anything.
Cursor Loop -> Makes it so when you get to the end of a row of files in icon view pressing the right arrow will go to the next file instead of doing nothing at all.
The change selection by F2 when renaming files works in conjunction with the option above it which is eliminate file extension from selection when renaming(XP an ins this work sonly in XP well as far as i know) it may also work alone i haven't tried it yet
basically lets say you select folder.jpg and hit F2 to rename it with QTTabBar installed and those two options enable it'll select the folder part of folder.jpg so it'll allow you to change the file name without changing the extension but if you hit F2 again it'll select the .jpg part of folder.jpg and hit it one more time and it'll select the whole filename of folder.jpg to rename the entire thing
That looks like a cool feature.
Also on the "eliminate file extension from selection when renaming", the option is only available in XP as in Vista that feature is builtin.
Can you explain me what "Selective text" does ?
It seems to display some text labels for buttons but not all of them…
