Would love to be able to use this program as just a toolbar (without tabs running). I mainly use this to get the UP button back (which Vista removed).

the possibility to hide the menu bar in xp would be nice; styler has that ability, and that is the only reason I install styler. If QTTabBar or QTAddressBar included this functionality, that would save me the trouble of having another process running in the background. Even without this functionality, this software is top-notch, bringing a great part of the Vista UI to XP.

Good idea. I removed the menu bar using the registry, but QTTabBar seems to restore it, so moot point. I use this function of Styler and also think it would be a nice feature for QTTabBar. :)
….although, I'll still use Styler as I can't live without the "New Folder" button. Maybe Quizo could add something like that too, but on steroids. For example, you could set the button to just create "New Folder" everytime by default or if you have created folder name templates, a drop-down list would appear instead.

Would love to see some sort of "hide menu bar" incorrporated in QTTabBar as well. Currently I use "HMB2" (HideMenuBar2) that can be found here http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/freewarefiles/HMB2.zip
With that I can manage to toggle it to be shown or hidden but that leaves me with yet another program running in the tray and at start up.
Hope it can be added in one form or another.

not sure if it's available, but when you mouse over a file and you can browse through it through the popup, it would be nice to middle click a folder open in new tab, and also be able to type in the first letter of a folder and have it jump to the folder.
i second the split pane view.

Contents of tab is displayed when you "hover" with the mouse over the tab; saving you from having to actually click!

Right-clicking on a folder offers an option "Open in New Tab" (I cannot use the middle-button mouse button as it is assigned to something else).

A simple "New Folder" button in toolbar (without displaying a new dialog box etc.); same functionality as right-clicking in content area of folder and choosing "New Folder".

First: thank you for the great software! It brings all the trick, that I always missed in XP and where Vista let us down.
Some of the other suggestions here (NewFolderButton, hide MenuBar,etc) are quite good.
What I want to add, is: mouse-gestures and - if that's possible - some of the enhancements (like the image-preview) working in the open/save-box too.
