Where do you put the plugins .dll? I can't believe you provide a .dll and no instructions on where to install it. Where the heck does it go?

OK, I have figured it out, but most might not. Install instructions should be placed in the .txt file that comes with the .dll.
How to install:
Step 1:
Extract the file to a folder and place in the programs file directory. Open windows explorer and right click on the button bar and select options. Select the plugins tab and click the "+" to the right to add the location of the downloaded plugins and then click ok.
Step 2:
Right click on the button bar and select customize and choose which button(s) to add and close.

That actually means *any folder* in program files: there does not appear to be a program files folder created by the install. I created one called QTTabBar, and put the plugins in that. Of course, it does not matter where you put them as long as the paths that you specify in the app via the Plugins tab can be found
Awesome! Thanx. You'd think it would be common sense to include a readme.txt or have some sort of FAQ/Tutorial/Guide on the site… At least they made a nice little app for us. Does this method work for tab skins as well? Or do I have to continue digging through these forums until I find another helpful user who's managed to figure out this puzzle?

I agree…great program, now that Ive FINALLY got it up and running….but definitely needs something In the readme…
I was just about to can this program as a waste of time…when I came across your Installation help…
Now Its AWESOME…….Ive got Tool Buttons again, In Vista Ultimate 32 bit Black Edition…So Thankyou Quizo, as well!!
I only wish there was a few more different plugins…
