If anyone has QTTabBar alternatives for windows 7 i would really appreciate it if you would post it here. Every one loves QTTabBar and it works perfectly but till they make it for windows 7 or make a fix, i would like to use a alternative tab bar thats sort of like QTTabBar. Anyone that has something like QTTabBar please post it here thanks, it doesnt have to have the same features just a tab bar.

Good question. I've used QTTabBar in Vista since about March 2007. It remains central to my file operations in Vista 32 and 64-bit. During this time I also acquired a license for xplorer² Pro. It's a full featured dual-pane file manager than can render multiple tabs in each of the two panes. Powerful and fast. It also costs $30.
The 'lite' version distributed without cost is dual-pane and even does tabs. What's to complain: a drive drop down list rather than an independent drive bar; no custom toolbars and custom icons, uses Windows Search, etc. But did I mention it's free.
So, at this time, I believe xplorer² lite will reliably take over most of the functions of QTTabBar in 7.
Long live Quizo! but if he isn't with us now, long live our gratitude for his superb TabBar.
Just another Junk Explorer Replacement, I don't get these developers who make shit explorer replacements. Its like they don't even think, they just come up with the same crap as the rest, rank amateurs.
I looked at a few alternatives, the best for me is by far UltraExplorer:

It has a few kinks, but also some nice additional features like dual pane view, column view, a drop box and user-defined grouping. It's freeware, apparently open source and is even portable.
I hope Quizo is well or at least getting there.
Ultra Explorer and Free Commander etc are OK up to a point.
But, none of them have an UNDO button like Windows Explorer has.
I have gratefully used the undo button many times in Explorer when accidentally moving a file & not knowing where it went, not to mention accidential deletions.
Quizo's QT Tabbar was the only one that actually integrated properly with Explorer and it was great with Vista.
I especially liked the plugin that gave us back the command bar buttons that XP had.
I hope that a Windows 7 version of QT Tabbar can be produced.
I agree, EACH AND EVERY explorer replacement is crap. And I tried like 20 since I switched to 7 months ago.
I had hopes for Win 7 but it's just a few good ideas and the usual crap without any consistency. It's a fucking tragedy. I work a lot with files/explorer so I even do the extra step to enable qttabbar for each window. My next machine will be a Mac because there's a maintained tab extension for the finder.
I recently found a small tool still in development called WindowTabs, its still very limited in comparison with QTTabBar but give it a try.
It's also $20. I'll still try it, but it better be good for $20.
I've tried UltraExplorer, but I can't stand that it doesn't use the explorer overlays (SVN) or the Explorer context menu. I use it for simple file browsing/copying, but when doing development, I have to have multiple explorer windows open.
