hi!

after playing around a little time - here's an idea to have qt working under windows 7. i have build 7100 with qt 1.2.2.1 running.
what i do is: open explorer, and first of all uncheck qttabbar at the menu bar and enable it again.
it works only in that window, so every new explorer window goes like that, but which is not essentially necessary with qt :-)
i wonder why nobody seems to have figured this out.
well:

- qt does not save this setting and the arrangement and
- folder preview is not available (which was great)

but if any of the geeks could make qt disable/enable itself each time explorer starts it could be an approach to fix it in win 7 and there would be more time to waste on other 7-related shit (which remains sufficiently).
can you imagine longing for vista again, haha!? i do…because there's no suitable alternative to qt.
any experiences?

I came here searching for a fix for the same thing. I have windows 7 64 bit and it does this same thing. A new version for this os would be great.

Everyone figured this out. Read prior posts. Your "solution" is the problem. To implement it would require access to the code itself, at which point it would be easier to fix the initialization problems itself.

Quizo thought Vista explorer was a pile of ass, and Windows 7 is part of that same ass shit!

So wait for shitty Windows 8 instead, see if that fucking useless Explorer team get a fucking a clue and does something to actually improve that shite Explorer, or someone gets rid of teh noobs. I'm counting on the last one as this crap won't get better until they stop noob development for noobs.

oh and just to add, its those asses at MS who changed the Explorer into this noob shit. So its not really Quizo who should have to redesign qttabbar to work with what is now an even more shit version than the Explorer XP had. After all if crappy Vis7a had a decent Explorer you wouldn't have any need for Qttabbar enhanced functionality, most of which should already be built in.

I am running Windows 7 x64 RTM build 7600, I am also having the same issue, wish QTTab worked. I love the tabs.
Can the creators please take a look at this problem for us.

Now that Windows 7 has officially been released, I am still not convinced Quizo will ever be heard from or make an appearance again, but I hope that I am wrong as I really liked the way QTTabBar increased the functionality of Windows Explorer. In any event I'm going with XYPlorer as a replacement. This software is stable and does everything anyone could ever need.

Developer is a lazy prick. He has not added any new version for over 10 months. Vista has been out since 2007. He would not release code so that someone adds to it. What a great product and a lazy asshole!

Works great in XP, as does everything surprisingly, including a less shit explorer with working shell extensions to improve on the microsuck.. now go play with the noob tarded OS, that those microtards designed with its crap functionality and piss poor ui specially for retards like themselves.
