Qttab option faded out - unable to re-install

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the QTTab bar (great addon btw) - I've tried installing and uninstalling both the stable and beta releases but haven't been able to solve this problem.

The problem started when I installed IE8, then selected QTTAb bar by mistake to be displayed in IE8 - I think this caused it to crash. Then, restarting my computer / uninstalling QTTab bar doesn't seem to help. I have 2 questions:

1. How do I get it to work again!? :-) - Do I have to delete some registry entries?

2. How do I backup my settings, especially the Group settings so that I can restore them when things like this happen?

Open "Manage Add-ons" in IE8 and enable QTTabBar.

You can export your saved settings as a reg file on the first tab of the options panel.

Thanks! That solved both my queries - for the others out there having this problem, do as Sartre says and enable QTTabBar in IE7 / IE8 and it'll start showing again in Windows Explorer. Then change all your settings as required, and export saved settings in a reg file - it's the button right at the bottom left of the first tab of the Options Panel when you right click in Windows Explorer.
