So for months now, I've been dealing with explorer crashing almost every time I use it, and it having to restart. I usually can use it for a few minutes or through only a couple times of navigating through different folders (if I'm lucky). This gets extremely difficult because I have to use explorer a lot. I really didn't want to believe it could be QTTabbar, because I never had a single issue with it before & I need it so badly, but upon finally investigating in the event viewer, I find this is happening:
**Application: explorer.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: System.AccessViolationException Stack: at QTTabBarLib.Interop.PInvoke.DefSubclassProc(IntPtr, Int32, IntPtr, IntPtr) at QTTabBarLib.Interop.PInvoke.DefSubclassProc(IntPtr, Int32, IntPtr, IntPtr) at QTTabBarLib.WindowSubclass.subClassProcCore(IntPtr, Int32, IntPtr, IntPtr, IntPtr, IntPtr)**
If anyone can help me figure out how to fix this, I'd be grateful. I might be having .NET issues, but I'm not really sure.
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
I use custom themes with a patched uxtheme.dll, although I'm not sure if it's relevant.
Other shell extensions in use possibly worth mentioning: xnviewshell, sagethumbs, IPFileShellExt Class, IPIconHandlerExt Class (those last 2 are IconPackager)
—-If you need any other info, let me know. :) This is really making me crazy. I spend most of my waking time on the computer, so it's rather important. I'm a power user.
