I also wanted to know, and this is off topic, but I have looked and looked, but I can't find any program or registry setting to add a 27th drive to my computer in ms windows without breaking the 26 drive letter limit. I don't have this limitation in ubuntu or fedora, as when I want to add a new partition it gets added and I can name it anything I want besides C, D, E, F…etc, like for instance AA, BB, CC, DD or words and phrases. The only reason I ask it because you seem to be adept at manipulating the explorer window. I have looked at "gmail drive", an addon for windows, that once installed it adds an icon in the "my computer" explorer window, but for the life of me, I am unable to edit this gmail drive to remap to show instead a folder or a 27th partition. I just want to show a 27th partition in My Computer, and not have to map a partition to an empty folder by navigating to it somewhere on the c: drive as is the only official windows solution to adding more than 26 drives, but this doesn't help since it doesn't show up in My Computer like the C: drive does.
Do you understand what it is I am trying to do? and if you can't help, do you know of any resources besides googling that you use to edit the explorer window or in particular, "my computer".
Thanks Quizo, or anybody.
