Hide the Tab?

Hello. I've managed to set up this amazing software. Worked flawlessly. However there are some questions:

1. Can I hide the tabs? Means that opening the folders in separate windows like in traditional windows explorer rather than tabs.
2. Is there any option to preview the video without the audio (mute) as a default option? I don't mind if it also disables the mp3/music preview feature.

1: The command "open folder in new window" or "New Window" should do what you are asking. Or Make a button to add to toolbar, or look under shortcuts to find its key binding.

2: This is under options» Preview» Windowing. You should also check out the default shortcuts for operation of the player. Most #pad keys are mapped to it.
