Plugin Buttons not appearing

Summary:

Despite being added, they do not appear in the QTTab "button bar"

I run Windows XP SP3 and recently installed QTTabBar, and have successfully configured it to my liking. Almost.

I am able to load additional plugin files such as the "FileTools", and QTTab button bar customization windows shows them as well. However, when I add them and click ok, they do not show up in the button bar at all.

What could be the problem?
