Cannot install QTTabBar

Hello,
First thank you Quizo for this very usefull addon. I come from the beta V1.5..
But I have some issues with this last version :
After installation and restart, I check the box "QT Tab Desktop Tool" which then appear under the language tool bar. But when I open a folder, I don't have the multi tab feature. It's just like the normal windows interface.
After a while, the tool bar just dissapear from the taskbar. I think it's the same as "Anonymous (10.41.7.x) 20 Dec 2007, 17:10"

I checked the objects in "C:\windows\assemly", I don't have any of them.

In "Internet Options" of IE, -> "Programs" -> "Manage Add-ons…" i have QT Command Bar, QTTabBar, QT Comand Bar 2 and QT Base toolBar. all activated.

Regarding the Internet Options -> Advanced -> Browsing -> "Enable third-party browser extensions", it's enable.

So I don't see what could be done.

i was installed qttabbBar on my windows xp, but after i log off the qttabBar doesn't work, i'm right click i see the option QT Tab Bar and QT Tab Standard Buttons but i can't make tab on windows explorer??

I have Windows Vista Business SP1, and I try the 3 differents steps defined by Quizo:

I have windows Vista, I suposo I have .Net framework
I have this 3 objects are in "C:\windows\assemly": "QTTabBar", "QTPluginLib", and "Interop.SHDocVw".
I have enabled entries "QT TabBar" and "QT standard buttons".

Can anyone help me, please?

Still don't see any "QT Tab Bar" or "QT Tab Standard Buttons" on right click. However, I also have a "QT Tab Desktop Tool" option when I right click on the taskbar (like the second poster above); but that's it.

Any issue with having run Spywareblaster on my system? Would that create a problem?

Strange… I've installed QT Tab Bar many times but never had .NET 3.0. You could have corrupted registry entries concerning your .NET install. Try repairing/removing it and re-installing .NET 2.0 to start. If you get errors, then something is definitely wrong. Luckily, there's an excellent tool for cleaning .NET from your machine. When/if you run it, be patient as there are some moments when it seems to be doing nothing, but it will soon finish the job.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Maybe Quizo has a better idea.

I have the same issue. Program installs okay but, even after rebooting, QT Tabbar is not visible in the View->Toolbars menu. Strangely though, I do have a "QT Tab Desktop Tool" option when I right click on the taskbar, and some QT Tabbar functionality on my Dekstop. I have XP SP2 and .NET framework 2.0 and 3.0 as well.

Hi,

I read some very good reviews about your QTTabBar program, and it looks very useful. So I downloaded it (the last stable release, not the beta) from your website and installed it, but I cannot get it to work.

The install process runs through fine, tells me the program has installed successfully, I should log off to enable QT Tab Bar.

I reboot, open a folder like the install help tells me to, right click on toolbar…and there's nothing there which says "QT Tab Bar" or "QT Tab Standard Buttons" to place a check on. It's just the standard menu.

'View' - 'Toolbars' doesn't show any QT-anything either.

I have both .NETframework 2.0 and 3.0 installed, and I have administrator status on my laptop.

I've tried everything I could think of…would appreciate any help.
