Wanted to report this too, luckily I took time to browse through.

Hope this can be fixed soon.
I like my Explorer buttons as they are skinned by Y'z Toolbar already.

Encrypted file text color when highlight alternate rows in detail mode is incorrect

For a file that has Windows encryption, the text color is incorrect.

I'm in detail mode with highlight alternate rows and grid.

The text color is correct for the non-highlighted rows.

I installed 1.2.2.1 two days ago.
Today right after OS startup (XP SP2), I open Explorer.
Nothing happend (I guess the .Net framework need some time to load).
Then I open Explorer again (in case first attempt to open (doubleclick) Explorer was not successful).

After some while (4 seconds or so) following Exception Dialog popped up:

Then the Exporer shut down (blank destop) and restarted after some seconds.
Now the Exporer is very slow and I have to reset OS…

Hi!
There is the same behaviour, when you open a folder inside Start-Menu via right-mouse-button -> Explorer : This opens an explorer-window without QTTabBar! You also cannot 'catch' this window with 'merge tabs of other windows'.
Same problem when you use PortableApps and klick on 'Explore'.

Apart from these little problems, QTTabBar is very nice! Thank you, Quizo!

It's me again - the error occurs while trying to add a group in the options-menu. When you open the location in the Windows-Explorer and then rightklick on the tab choosing "Neue Gruppe erstellen …" (Create new Group) everything is OK.

First of all excuse me for my poor english. I downloaded and installed the „QTTabBar“ from qttabbar.wikidot.com at my Vista running laptop.
While I try to add a group, the following window is shown.

When installed in Vista SP1 x64, the toolbar is only installed for the x64 version of explorer.exe
Some programs (e.g. utorrent) launch the x86 version of explorer.exe, where no qt tabbar is avaliable.
Is it possible to have QT TabBar installed in both 32bit and 64bit explorer.exe? (such as by changing registry?)

I've just installed the version 1.2.2.1 and when clicking on folder shortcut, the folder open in a new window and not in a new tab. How to correct this ? I cannot see an option that have changed…

In Windows XP if the "No window resizing" option is enabled, and the explorer is maximized, the taskbar don't appear, it seems to be over the taskbar, and I'm not using the TopMost Option.

Whenever I use the back button on my Logitech mouse, I go back 2 directories instead of 1, same with the forward button. I think the reason it goes back 2 directories is because it activates the back feature for QTTabBar and Windows Explorer. There should be a way to disable the back feature so only one program handles it, instead of both.

Now I found a problem When I select the option "QT TAB STANDARD BUTTON" and unselect
the option "QT TABBAR" then close the windows and open it again, you will find that the icon
of "QT TAB STANDARD BUTTON" disappeared. Waiting for your help, thanks

Hey, Quizo. Great extension!

The only bug I've found is a relatively minor one, but it's definitely there nonetheless. Whenever I am in a folder using thumbnail view, enter a subfolder, and then use the 'back' button on my mouse to navigate to the previous folder, the subfolder highlighted in the first window is the one to the left of the one I selected. I say 'to the left' instead of 'previous' because if I repeat this process on a folder that is on the left edge of the screen's layout, the highlight is in the correct spot (it does not move to the previous row's rightmost folder).

I should note that this only happens when I use the 'back' button on my mouse (logitech vx revolution) - clicking the back button on the explorer window does not yield the highlight shifting issue. Also, this behavior recurs in both Vista [Ultimate] and XP Professional [SP3 beta].

It's not a terribly huge or deal-breaking issue by any means - like I said, *great* piece of software! - but if you have time to fix that after dealing with a lot of these (seemingly more critical, in many cases?) bugs, that would be fantastic.

Did anybody tell you this was featured in PC Magazine, by the way? That's how I found it…

Could you add a button for showing/hiding Folders to the menu bar? If this button is added it offers everything the Windows menu bar does and I can get rid of it by selecting "Hide menu bar" in the options.

i'm having a problem with the standard buttons…. they disappear after i close and re-open any window. i have to close and re-open the standard buttons toolbars to make them work… any idea what i should do?

I installed the last version 1.2.2.1 on Vista sp1, used a bit, then uninstalled. Now I can't disable the menubar anymore. Tried rebooting, reinstalling and uninstalling, etc

Help please ?
