Should we expect an update for windows 7 soon. Quizzo, if you are too busy, have you considered making this a community project. If it is in C#, i most certainly could help.

FYI - I was able to "fix" the problem by uninstalling the SP2 release candidate. Everything is back to normal (i'm able to use 1.2.2.1 with none of the issues described above). Hopefully by the time SP2 is officially released the root cause will become obvious and a workaround by quizo not far behind. Thanks for the great app!!

I am having the same problem as the original post - ever since installing 1.2.3B5 any use of the keyboard causes the current (and all other, if others are open) explorer window to simply close (however it does not appear to crash or lock explorer.exe as there is no drop in system responsiveness and no impact to the start menu / taskbar functionality). Mouse based navigation is perfect, but any use of the keyboard (whether to rename a file, type in the address/search bar, or simply hitting ENTER key to open / launch a file or folder) will close the window.
Assuming this was a problem with the beta, I attempted to uninstall 1.2.3B5 and after restarting OS I then reinstalled 1.2.2.1, but the problem now persists!!! Never experienced this issue in 1.2.2.1 (which I had previously been using for what seems like close to a year) prior to upgrading to 1.2.3B5 but now it appears I cannot properly downgrade back to original functionality.

Current OS: Windows Vista x64 Ultimate SP1 & Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP2 RC v.286

It is wonderful application and I use it quite a long time. Yesterday I downloaded VIsta SP2 and installed. Unfortunately, QTTabBar caused to Explorer crash loop each time I tried to type anything in address bar and search bar of explorer. Also any file rename procedure also caused to Explorer crash, so I was needed to uninstall QTTabBar. This problem exists with both versions: 1.2.2.1 and the newer beta version.
In addition, this software does not render tabs on Winodows 7.
I understand that neither Vista SP2 nor Windows 7 are the final code, but I think it is worth to report about these problems

Many thanks about this great software. I hope the bugs will be lined out.
