This was happening to me. You can try to defragment your drive. That will improve the .NET load time.

I got an SSD hard drive recently and that reduced the qttabbar load time to near zero.

This is because it is using Microsoft .NET
The first time an application is loading it has to load the .NET modules it uses too, this is the delay you get at first start.
This is true fir EVERY app that uses .NET, so there is nothing QTtabbar can to about it ….

First run of explorer is slow here on XP SP3 too.

Qttabbar is a nice addition to explorer, hope there will be an update soon.

Hi, im fascined whit this great app, but in mi windows vista SP1 the first explorer running take about at 8 - 10 seconds, please help me. Contragulations to developer team and thank you.

Computer spec:

Core 2 Duo e6600
2GB RAM DDR 2
NVidia 8600 GT
Windows Vista Ultimate SP1
