When you available Explorer an activate the QTTabBar it works. But if you near explorer und available it again, it only exhibits vacant tabs.

Any previews don't work.

Have been using QTTabbar for a while now and tbh, its immense. I have been using it on my work PC which is a 32 bit W7 machine. (its 32 bit for a reason).

Ive been finding that when trying to navigate in a folder with alot of files in it, say 100+, its very ''jumpy and not smooth'' especially when using the windows scroll bar or my mouse scroll wheel. I uninstalled QTtabbar and the problem went away. Just wondered if anyone else has this problem?

That's all I could find so far. If I have more suggestions I'll post then. Thanks a lot for your release and keep up the good work :D !!

Since you haven't released any version that could work ok on win7 and since you haven't replied to all these posts from the past months, we assume you have either lot of work to do or lost interes in developping this app.

In either case, can you please release the code under open source license so that we (and i mean all the developpers interested) could take it and develop it further?
You'll have all the credit for this initial steps, you haven't earned money with it any way, so at least please be so kind to share the codes with the community.

i got some good news for all windows 7 users.
Qttabbar latest beta release works on Windows 7.

Just install this nice piece of software and create the group with your favorite folders.
After starting your explorer right click on your menu bar and open your group - dragging your folder on the menu bar doesnt work but opening your group is working properly.

Unfortunately I'm not using Windows 7, but is strange to see this version has not been updated in English, anyway in these forums a parter made an English language pack for it.
Perhaps this version works with Windows 7 (I hope).

When you exit explorer then reopen it, no buttons are displayed on a completely grey toolbar.

First of all, is that a bug or a feature? Did I reset some option somewhere wrongly?

The only way I found was to disable, then reenable the buttons bar. This obviates this program's usefulness, since I'm not going to do that every time I open am explorer window.

It's hard to believe that this happens to everybody, or it would be the first thing fixed.

it has tabbed interface and its Lite version is free

unfortunately Quizo is too lazy.

When you start new explorer, QTTabBar does not work. You have to disable and enable in toolbars. Then it works.
Middle mouse clieck does not open new tab.
QTTabBar does not capture new Explorer processes.
It may capture window as a new tab when opened outside. (Sometimes does capture)
QTTabBar does not restore tabs (Expected since it does not start with new Explorer)
XP compatible BS key does not work (I expect this option to navigate to parent folder when Backspace is pressed)

I would be glad if these functions will work as expected.
I am aware that Windows 7 is beta, not everyone has it and QTTabBar is free.

I also have blank tabs, but… If you disable the toolbar and then enable it again it will start working correctly.

However, if you open a new window it will go back to blank tab. Furthermore, it will not capture new explorer processes and open them as new tabs. So every time to open a folder from say a link on your desktop it will open up a new window with a blank tab. I'm using Windows 7 RC Build 7100 and I tried the stable version of QTTabBar and Betas 3 and 5. I've been suffering with the win 7 task bar:(
