Right Click> Options> Window>

The 7° Option must be uncheck to make the new windows open like tabs in only one window.

I'm sorry i use a languaje pack so i can tell you exactly who option is, but with i told you, i think you can do it.

could you support the following keyboard shortcuts.
CTRL + Insert for copy to clibboard
Shift + Insert for copy from clibboard

The native windows bar allows them.

I've tried UltraExplorer, but I can't stand that it doesn't use the explorer overlays (SVN) or the Explorer context menu. I use it for simple file browsing/copying, but when doing development, I have to have multiple explorer windows open.

1. Go to TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>Advanced Tab
2. find checkbox that says "Enable third-party browser extension and make sure it's selected.
3. Click OK
4. Now go to TOOLS>Manage-Addons>
5. In Toolbars and Extensions RIGHT CLICK on QT TabBar and ENABLE
6. Now find QT Tab Standard Buttons, RIGHT click and ENABLE
7. Close Internet Explorer & Any Explorer windows
8. Now open My Computer go to VIEW>TOOLBARS
9. select both QT Tabs
10. Have yourself a cold one to celebrate the fix.

Yes, but barely. Very buggy. Crashes or throws .NET exceptions explorer often. Tabs show up with no title.

This software is a brilliant idea; that is to extend the current explorer via a new toolbar. Its really unfortunate the software appears to not be under active development. Jan09 is way too old to consider its being worked on.

but the crash this form discussing since about 6 months is that the tabs disappear when you close the explorer

and as u show it diasappear with you

and as an idea the time needed for you to return the tab more than the time you use to do the job of opening the explorer

example: if I open the explorer to copy a file to my flash memory
this will takes less time than returning the tab

so I still prefer the XYplorer as I show in my post

its pretty funny because my windows 7 explorer acts as usual.

i only need to close and open the qttabbar standard buttons for my search.

Just install the latest release of Qttabbar on Windows 7.
Activate also the standard buttons and go to options.
Activate in misc. the point "XP compatible BS Key".
Dont close your explorer keep it open the hole session.

i got some good news for all windows 7 users.
Qttabbar latest beta release works on Windows 7.
How ?
Just install this nice piece of software and create the group with your favorite folders.
After starting your explorer right click on your menu bar and open your group - dragging your folder on the menu bar doesnt work but opening your group is working properly.

Unfortunately I'm not using Windows 7, but is strange to see this version has not been updated in English, anyway in these forums a parter made an English language pack for it.
Perhaps this version works with Windows 7 (I hope).

I had hopes for Win 7 but it's just a few good ideas and the usual crap without any consistency. It's a fucking tragedy. I work a lot with files/explorer so I even do the extra step to enable qttabbar for each window. My next machine will be a Mac because there's a maintained tab extension for the finder.

Quizo's QT Tabbar was the only one that actually integrated properly with Explorer and it was great with Vista.
I especially liked the plugin that gave us back the command bar buttons that XP had.
I hope that a Windows 7 version of QT Tabbar can be produced.

When you exit explorer then reopen it, no buttons are displayed on a completely grey toolbar.

First of all, is that a bug or a feature? Did I reset some option somewhere wrongly?

The only way I found was to disable, then reenable the buttons bar. This obviates this program's usefulness, since I'm not going to do that every time I open am explorer window.

It's hard to believe that this happens to everybody, or it would be the first thing fixed.
