Started using this extension for its preview tooltips.
And I have some requests/suggestioms:

Speed of preview tooltip
I notice that the preview tooltip seem to take a longer time to appear on larger images.
Maybe there can be an option to adjust the thumbnail quality like TweakUI XP has for the Explorer thumbnail view?

Search Box
This search box is a really useful tool.
Is it possible to have an option to adjust the height as its a bit "tall" and it disturbs my slim toolbar layout.
Maybe an auto size function would be nice for those putting it at the end of the toolbar so it can resize when the window is being resized.

So far I feel quite ok for the other functions.
Thanks for making QT Tabbar, good job!!

I notice that there is a 'SelectionChanged' event raised by an IPluginServer implementation. I also noticed that QTTabBar makes use of BandObjectLib. I'm also using BandObjectLib but can't work out where a 'SelectionChanged' event is raised from (i.e. which object in the BandObject raises this event and what is it called).

Can any kind soul point me in the right direction?

Hi, first of all, thanks a lot for this great great great app. But one thing is bugging me…

I set the My Computer contents 'view' option as 'icon', the 'arrange icons' setting as 'by type' and checked the option 'show in groups'. Now, I deselected the QTTabBar option "Do not capture window as a new tab when opened from outside". But after that, when I choose My Computer from the start menu while one or more tabs are already open, the new tab contains the drive icons in icon view, but the other two settings are changed. This is happening every time I try to open My Computer. Is there a fix for reserving the My Computer view settings?

Thanks.

I actually came here to post about the same issue :o)

The way I have my explorer window set up I have the back button, forward button and up button on the left, then the address bar (or in my case, QTAddressBar right now) and then the search and history buttons from QTTabBar. I like the graphics from the native buttons, plus I can't place the "standard buttons" toolbar both to the left and right of the address bar to have my preferred set up.

I think this is a fix for now, but it sure would be nice if the regular back button worked :o)

This is really great, though! I started using QTTabBar about a week ago and I've been loving it. I have it running so that my folders remain persistent and in the same window, so that I have one link to access all my folders. Great job!

Hey, so far I found a fix to this. Remove the original Windows Explorer Back Button and replace it will the blue style buttons. Right click -> Options -> customize -> remove original back button.
Right click -> Tick "QT Tab StandardButtons" -> customize QT Tab Standard Buttons and simply add the back button. Unlock the toolbars and drag the button where you wan it to go. So far the QT Tab Background button is working fine.

Thanks
Dom

Yeah, .NET Framework 2.0 did the trick : I finally got QTTabBar back! I wish I'd thought about it though, I saw the framework thing on the homepage without really giving it much thought and this was like the first time I hadn't installed the frameworks after a format. My mistake! But I'm so glad I got it back now :D
